Bonds Store

On the 5 June this year I purchased $205 worth of Bonds items. A week later I wanted to exchange one of these items the 'Bonds Sport' bra worth $34.95. When I tried it on at home it was far too tight so with the tag on I returned it to the store requesting an exchange for another item. The shop assistant who remembered me (from serving me the first time) said due to their new policy I had to have the receipt. She would not exchange it. I then left very dissapointed. Since then I have been busy with work, mothering and travelling for work commitments. I returned yesterday, this time with a receipt and I was told I was one month too late as per policy. The assistant said I should return tomorrow to talk to the manager. The assistant did not query about my circumstances other than "that's policy" or "you will need to talk to my supervisor." I asked if the supervisor can give me a call. I left my details and I'm yet to receive a call. I'm very dissapointed Bonds. I expected better from an Australian company supporting loyal customers that are genuine and honest. I understand the policy in place, however, is it not good customer service to query about
individual circumstances and work together towards a resolution? Bonds, I simply requested for an exchange, I had my receipt, the item had it's tag and I believe given my curcumstances it was within a reasonable time frame.
