I've been coming here for about 10 years and have rarely had an issue with how my hair has been cut. Once I find someone I like I stick with them until they move on somewhere else.

The staff are always friendly and are very accommodating to my fiancée and I when we want to try out new things. They'll guide us through to ensure we're getting what we want.

I'd definitely recommend them, especially now after they've had a renovation the place is so much better.

I had an $80 gift card for a wash, treatment and blow wave, I think $80 is a bit steep for that. I also asked to get a cut when I booked.

The wash didn't even cover my whole my head (top and underside were neglected, no massage), they didn't ask or tell me what treatment they were putting in my hair (for about 5 or 10mins I was told), be careful of the chairs as they are brought to a sitting position make sure you get up first otherwise you risk your shoulders being jammed between the basin and the chair.

I was ushered to the chair for my cut, which was going to be an extra $55. I had two ppl behind me whispering "do you want to do it? No, ok I'll do it" what was that about? So I asked for a fringe and a bit off the back to make it even. She took a segment of the front of my hair and explained why it needed to be the fringe, all good. Then just cut it straight across, I could've done that!! Then when she cut the back the same way!! I could've got my husband to do that!! Then the spiel about the products for body but not too much, thankfully.

Then the blow wave, she asks if I want curls? I have straight hair, "no thanks" but she makes a big issue about how she tried? So she blow waves the fringe then the back and then looks in a drawer for another brush "there it is!" This brush was FILLED with hair, I cringed but just wanted it over with. Unfortunately I'm a ppl pleaser and told her it was all wonderful - I really didn't want to cause a scene. I also booked in a hair dye just to watch her eyes finally light up.... I will be cancelling it.

I saw a lot of parents bring their kids in for a cut, maybe they had a special on. I would not recommend this hair salon to anyone. In between the condescension "good girl" I'm 50 yrs old! And the lack of any kind of attempt at connecting with me, the customer (oh, sorry, she did ask me what I did for work) I would make sure you look at the sterilisation of the brushes, combs, etc., if there is any...

Oh, I forgot to mention, when she completed the cut at the back of my hair she didn't even get a mirror to show me!! And did I mention her favourite song she asked to be put on that had heaps of "f***" words in it while kids were in the salon? She did ask for it to be changed though...
